Innovative exhibitors
The designers take centre stage at the Arnhem Mode Biënnale. Their influence on international fashion is enormous. The 2009 participants included leading couture houses such as Lanvin, which has been enchanting the world for decades, up-and-coming talents like Boudicca and Sandra Backlund, and conceptual designers such as Hussein Chalayan. The stars of the future were amply represented at the Arnhem Mode Biënnale as well: fashion talents who had recently finished their studies or were soon to graduate.
